Boy's Club
This group is for Elementary School and Middle School-aged boys presenting with ADD/ADHD or ADD/ADHD-like symptoms, and/or for kids needing help to make and keep friends.
When: Wednesday Evenings, 5:45-6:45 p.m.
This psychotherapeutic group focuses on the development of more effective social skills and management of ADHD symptoms. Boys with ADHD or ADHD-like symptoms benefit from hands-on learning and experiential therapeutic tools and activities. Expressive and fun activities include: music, body movements, arts and crafts, theatrical psychodrama, and therapeutic games with discussions. Relevant topics in this group setting will provide the participants with the opportunity to learn and improve their concentration, manage hyperactivity and/or impulsivity while continuing to work on better social skills.
